Dr. Mostafizur Rahman Khan has more than 14 years of experience in the field of bariatric surgery, laparoscopic surgery and general surgery. In the year 1999, he earned his FCPS from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons, Dhaka. After that in the year 2000, he went onto complete his FRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Scotland, and the UK. He went to India to earn a Fellowship training in Hepatico pancreaticobiliary surgery from Sri Ganga Ram Hospital and also took up an extensive training in Minimal Access Surgery from India and France.

Contribution to Medical Science

Dr. Mostafizur has a keen interest in the field of general and laparoscopic surgeries which is inclusive of minimal access surgery, GI Surgery, Hepato-pancreato-biliary, colorectal, cancer, and breast surgeries. At the same time, he is a Member of the Society of Surgeons of Bangladesh, Society Laparoscopic Surgeons of Bangladesh, and The International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders. He is involved in the field of research and has authored various journals in his name which includes both national and international.
